Save the Date

The best is yet to come.

We can't wait to celebrate with the people we love most (that's you).

Our Story

It started with hello.

And somehow, it's ending in forever.

The Beginning

How we met

We met in pharmacy school...

Margaret asked Isaiah to be her boyfriend...

Margaret asked if she could move in with Isaiah...

Here we are.

First Date

Where it started

A bit of a disagreement on this one.

Although Margaret has been stalking Isaiah ever since Rodney Richmond's Zoom meeting in P1 year, Margaret claims that the first date was looking at the Christmas lights at Harding where they looked at them, took pictures, and made egg nog (even though she asked Isaiah to be her boyfriend two months prior).

Isaiah claims the truth. The truth is that Margaret asked Isaiah out on a date. The date she asked him on was when they went to the pickleball store in Little Rock and then got David's Burgers.

The Question

The proposal

They were in Italy. Isaiah was sweating. He had been prepping Chase all week on how to use the camera. He had been carrying the ring around the entire time waiting for the moment. He had then messaged the teacher asking for time off. They went to Rose Garden in Italy. When the moment came, some lady decided to let her dog run through puddles, splash his camera and Chase, and throw Isaiah off, all while Margaret was smiling at the dog and yelling "Oh. How cute! He looks like he's having such a good time!" They then went back to the Rose Garden in front of a cat statue where Isaiah proposed and Margaret said "Yes". Shortly after, all three of them were ticketed by la polizia for not validating their bus tickets.

A

Amanda

MaTRON of Honor

Margaret's sister. Margaret's favorite memory of her is getting iced coffees and McDonald's french fries as well as never forgetting to end every conversation with a "Mwah".

S

Sarah

Bridesmaid

Margaret's lifelong friend. Margaret's favorite memory is when she thought Sarah stopped being her friend, but her mom had only just smashed her phone to pieces.

C

Chase

Bridesmaid

Margaret's wild friend. Margaret's favorite memory is knowing that she is the first person she calls when Chase gets in a car wreck (it has happened twice).

M

Mak

Bridesmaid

Margaret's goofy friend. Her favorite memory, although rather recent, occurred while watching the Odyssey. During the previews, Mak audibly screamed "HaAhAaHaAhAaHaAhAa". She also loves singing "KANGA" with her.

Q & A

Good questions.
Honest answers.

When should I RSVP by?+
Please RSVP by Friday, September 3, 2027. Because this is a destination wedding, the resort needs our final guest and room count well ahead of the date — and flights and rooms get more expensive the longer you wait. If we haven't heard from you by then, we'll sadly have to mark you as unable to attend.
Can I bring a plus one?+
Yes — every guest is welcome to bring a plus one. Please add their name when you RSVP so we can include them in the room block and the final count for the resort.
Are kids welcome?+
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope the notice gives you plenty of time to plan, and we'd love for you to enjoy the weekend as a grown-up getaway.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?+
We're getting married outdoors, on the beach at Royalton Riviera Cancún, with the reception to follow at the resort. Dress for sand and sea air: heels sink, so flats, wedges or bare feet are your friends. December on the Riviera Maya is warm and breezy — a light layer is nice once the sun goes down. If the weather turns, the resort has an indoor backup space and we'll let everyone know the morning of.
What should I wear?+
Beach formal. Think linen suits, lighter fabrics and colors, and dresses that work on sand. Our wedding party will be in lemon sorbet, tan, and espresso — feel free to complement the palette, and we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white.
Where is everyone staying?+
We're hosting the wedding and all rooming through Royalton Riviera Cancún in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo. Booking details are coming to the Travel/Booking page — please wait to book until we share the group link, so your room counts toward our block.
Do I need a passport?+
Yes. Mexico requires a valid passport for U.S. travelers flying in, and it should be valid for the length of your stay. If yours is expired or you've never had one, start now — processing can take a few months. Fly into Cancún International (CUN); the resort is roughly half an hour south.
Do you have a registry?+
Your presence is the best present — truly, you're flying to another country for us. If you'd still like to give a gift, our registry is on the Registry page (still coming together).
Travel & Booking

Getting there.

We're hosting the wedding and all rooming through Royalton Riviera Cancún.

Where We're Staying

Royalton Riviera Cancún

Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico. An all-inclusive resort on the Riviera Maya, about half an hour south of the Cancún airport. The ceremony, the reception, and everyone's rooms are all here — no rental car, no driving between places.

Booking

Through Destify

We're booking the whole wedding through Destify, who handle group travel for weddings like ours. Rates, deposits and the booking link are coming to this page. Please wait to book until we post it — a room booked on your own won't count toward our group, and you may miss our rate.

Flying In

Cancún International (CUN)

The closest airport and the one to book. It's a major international hub with direct flights from most large U.S. cities. Transfers from the airport to the resort will be covered in the booking details.

Before You Book

Check your passport

You'll need a valid passport to fly into Mexico, and it should stay valid through your trip. If yours is expired or you've never had one, start the process early — it can take a few months.

Booking opens soon.

We'll post the group link here, and RSVPs are open in the meantime.

Things to Do

Seven pools.
One of you.

Everything below is already included, already on site, and already paid for. Pace yourself.

The Pools

Seven of them

Seven pools, several with swim-up bars, which means the shortest distance between you and a drink is roughly one breaststroke. There is also a private beach, in case you want your water salted.

Eat

Ten restaurants

Mexican, Italian, Indian, Caribbean, Tex-Mex and Asian across nine à la carte restaurants, plus a buffet running breakfast through dinner. We are formally challenging you to clear the whole list before Sunday.

Drink

Eleven bars

Swim-up, poolside, beachside, lobby lounge, and a martini bar for when you'd like to feel briefly sophisticated. It's an open bar. You are on vacation. We are getting married. Three good reasons.

On the Water

Kayak, snorkel, scuba

Kayaking, snorkeling and an introductory scuba lesson are included with the stay. The reef off Puerto Morelos is one of the resort's own recommended trips — it's part of the second-largest barrier reef on the planet, sitting right there.

Compete

Tennis, volleyball, ping pong

Beach volleyball, tennis courts and ping pong. We fully expect at least one rivalry to form on Friday and still be unresolved at the reception. Please keep it off the dance floor.

Recover

The Royal Spa

For the morning after the welcome drinks, or the morning after the wedding, or honestly any morning. Book ahead — spa slots go quickly when a whole wedding has the same idea at the same time.

Gamble

Casino del Mar

Slot machines, seven-person roulette tables and European-style blackjack, on site. A reminder that the house has a considerably better record than any of us, and that the bar is free while the chips are not.

Leave the Resort

Puerto Morelos village

A small fishing town just up the road, with a famously crooked lighthouse on the square and taco stands that will ruin resort tacos for you. Worth one afternoon, if only so you can say you left.

All of this. Plus a wedding.

Let us know you're coming and we'll save you a pool chair.

RSVP
Registry

Coming soon.

We're still putting this together. Check back before you book — and truly, getting you to Mexico is the gift.

Nothing to see yet

Our registry will live here once we've settled on it. In the meantime, the most helpful thing you can do is RSVP and book your room early.

First things first.

Let us know you're coming.
